knocking tapping from front suspension
hi,,had tapping sound and finaly cured it today,,you could hear it when pressing down on right suspension strut under the bonnet ,and also when driving over speed bumps,lots of people said could be top mount ,drop link , you could feel tappimg if you put your finger on top nut of strut..
so today I took suspension apart and it was a faulty strut making the noise,(must have been valve etc inside strut) put new strut on and now all fine.
hope this helps someone with same sound.
