Guys iam new to the Mercedes world iam buying a c350 2014 and they claim it has multimedia package,amg package, keyless go, rear camera,lane tracking package etc etc.. is there a way or a place or site that by the vin will tell me if is true that has all those add ons and packages?..thanks in advance.

Hey,

I just purchased a 2012 C250 last week and not sure about a site but you can verify in person certain packages. The keyless go will unlock the car by placing your hand by the hand and also if you point the key to the car and press and HOLD the unlock button the windows and sunroof will open. (Only the keyless go will do that).

This is the multi media package:

Multimedia Package - $2,790
Internal HD navigation system with 3D and voice; Internal HD : 80.00 GB storage; 7.0 in. multi-function display screen; MP3 player; Rear camera parking distance sensors; Voice activating system for radio, phone and navigation system; DVD/VCD; Traffic Information; Audio system with six CDs digital media card, audio system with six CDs digital media card; 6-disc in-dash CD changer; Entertainment display screen located in front; Gracenote; Requires: [536] SiriusXM Radio; Or [P01] P1 Package


And the AMG package should be visible with the wheels, the wheels are twin 5 spoke and have "AMG" on it.

Any Mercedes dealer can print out the information from the VIN. Or,

Carinfo.kiev.ua/cars/vin/mercedes/vin_check

Or you can just register for a free account on MB startekinfo site which provides access to the Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC). You input your VIN and you can get all the cars information from that.

I don't know why people don't use it and have to ask everyone else to look up the information. It's FREE
