I found that the MTEC 273 COB provided the best value for the money. They are bright, white (7000k) and last very long. No flicker, no Error. $40 a pair on Ebay.

Thanks for your approval. Why not be helpful and provide some information about the new ones. This is a forum.

I too have bought from AZN some for eyelid. They last 3 month, more or less. Even if i space them away from connector. Them bought some cheap from ebay. Same thing! All burned.

I quit since them from get some leds for eyebrown. No lasting solution...

What would be great is get some passive cooling solution for these leds...

It all depends on the quality control of the final product. A lot of the parts on your Mercedes-Benz are made in China, especially the basic electrical components. The difference is the manufacturer employs strict quality control to ensure a superior product.

With that said, if you buy a generic bulb from a Chinese eBay seller for $1 shipped you should expect poor quality. If you buy something from a company like MTEC, Bandi, Morimoto, Nokya, Polarg, etc, all of which produce their product in China, you will get higher quality product.

Even companies like Philips and Osram (Sylvania in the US) produce their products in China, but again the difference is quality control.

For sure, the Osram Philips ect produced there is pretty decent. Name brand stuff usually is.

The LED lights I speak of are the no name brand or nothing from a major manufacturer.
