Oil Consumption?
Changed my oil about 10k miles ago(0W-40 Mobil 1). Got a "Check Engine Oil at Next Refueling" message.
Oil was down to about 4/5ths of the dipstick. It was 100% of the dipstick range when I changed it.
It this normal oil consumption over 10k miles for a 2010 C300 with 50k on the odo?

Without having a measurement of how much it consumed I will guess it was around a quart. This would mean about a tenth of a quart per thousand miles which is perfectly normal. Most vehicle manufacturers allow for up to 3/10s of a quart per thousand even on new vehicles.

If the distance between the high mark and the low mark on the dipstick is 1 quart(or liter 
), then yes, it consumed about 4/5ths of a quart.
I figured this was normal, Im just used to my Hondas which dont consume a single drop of oil for as long as Ive gone between oil changes(25,000 miles).
I guess this is a good thing as it might indicate low friction piston rings which should make the engine last a long time between rebuilds.
