Transmission Indicator Not Recognizing Position- Car wont start

Hey guys, I am new to the forum but in need of some advise. My 2010 C300 wont start. I had it parked and disconnected my battery for 2 months- out of the country. It was running fine prior to leaving. Upon my return, I connected my battery and everything inside the vehicle turns on- from radio, windows, interior/exterior lights, dash... but when I try to turn it on- it doesn't. It doesn't even try to crank over. I noticed the transmission indicator on my dash is not recognizing or indicating if i am in Park (P), or Neutral (N), Reverse (R), Drive and so on. It is also giving me a SRS malfunction and ESC Inoperative message. Has anyone experienced this before? I have checked the battery at the local auto parts store and changed the battery in my 1 key as well. Any suggestions?

Please help!!!

I don't have any specific help for you unfortunately, but I do know that a partially drained battery in my dads car (same model, C300) caused some very weird electrical anomalies for a couple days after the car hadn't been used in a while. (1+ month) Perhaps check your battery voltage?
