Problems scraping with front lip spoiler + SS lowering springs
Considering a CF lip spoiler but I'm concerned about scraping. I'm on SS springs with 18" AMG wheels and I already have to be pretty careful - how bad is the scraping for those of you with a lip spoiler?

On my first lip it cleared pretty much no problem 90% of the time, more inclined areas I had to be more careful and go at angles just in case. Now that I've added an addition to my lip I scrape more likely but still follow the same rules, go slow and at angles at inclined areas.

How much clearance would you say that the lip sacrifices? There are a few places around town that I frequent which concern me. All of my cars have been lowered and this is my second W204 but this car feels super low. I'm assuming it's because of the smaller wheel diameter - 19s seem to add a little clearance. But anyhow - I'm definitely familiar with the angled approach, opening car doors carefully around curbs, watching for parking blocks, etc. Just trying to quantify the decrease in height and learn from the experiences of others. Sounds like it's not too bad...

Depends on the lip honestly, I couldn't tell you for sure. Truthfully, if you're super worried then get a cheap CF lip that you can bear to sacrifice and then once it's starting to show it's wear, smooth it out and wrap it in whatever vinyl you want, extends the life a bit more.
