Rear bumper lip popped out.... (C 180 K BlueEfficiency)
Hi,
I'm new to this forum, but in need of some help, as google search has failed me.
I was reversing my car and didn't have my parking sensors on and i bumped my car into another vehicle. No damage but at the rear bumper, the bumper lip (i believe that is what is called) has popped out from the center and near the exhaust.
I tried pushing it back in, but its just popping back out, as its not clipping in. I can see the clips which are still in-tact to the lip.
I took my car to Mercedes (who i purchased the car from) and they tried to do what i did but had no luck and adviced i could try to do it myself by removing it completely and putting it back in, he also said there are some screws i need to undo but could not find where they were. If all fails, he agreed to take the car in for £200 and do it for me.
So this is where i am today, has anyone removed the rear bumper lip, or know where the screws could be located? Any help is appreciated.
(i will try and get some pictures posted on here, its dark outside now for me to take pictures).
