I have a 2012 C250 with the halogen headlights. I just want to know where it would be cheaper to get the new lights (not sure what they're called, i think DRL LED). Would it be cheaper to get them online or at a local dealership. Also if I could get a estimate price for them. Thanks
From my research there was one option, which were the Depo aftermarket ones, which appear to have too many issues for my liking. OEM didn't seem like a cheap option, or even a possible option.
I opted to find a car with the lighting package instead. Sorry if that's not the info you were looking for.
OEM is not just headlights. It's a myriad of sensors throughout the car, a different windshield, a camera, software updates (and since you have a 2012, headlamp washers + new bumper + plumbing if you want to be pedantic).
The Depo are the only way to go if you want OEM look without rebuilding half your car and draining your bank account.
I have the DEPO headlights and haven't had a single issue after 2 months. They look exactly like the lighting package headlights. But do not operate the same as the ILS, as in the cornering lights are not actually cornering lights, and the projectors do not "aim" themselves.

I retrofitted the OEM ILS headlamps into my car, complete with the sensors, wiring, control modules, multifunction camera, etc....
Agree with JaredP. I've had my depo headlights without an issue. <knock on wood>. The early units of depot headlights had shutter issues, but the new ones (purchased from unique style racing) were supposed to have addressed that issue. Looks as good as the facyory ILS without the extra cornering, auto aim, headlight washer functionality.

That looks nice! If you don't mind me asking how much were the lights and installation? And also what exactly is "cornering, auto aim, headlight washer functionality" ?

About $480 for the bi xenon lead lights from unique style racings. I self installed, so I spent no $$ on that. You'd have to inquiry about the install locally.
Direct from mb c-class brochure...."Bi -Xenon headlamps. With the optional Lighting Package, Bi-Xenon headlamps generate light that’s perceived more like natural daylight than halogen headlamps. The headlamps feature Active Curve Illumination and Adaptive Highbeam Assist. These two advanced systems continuously vary the angle and beam pattern of the headlamps, to maximize illumination of corners and straightaways, without creating glare for other drivers. The package also includes headlamp washers that help to keep the lamps cleaner with a high-pressure spray of fluid."

That's not bad at all. How long did it take for you to install it? Thanks a lot for the info.

Took about 3 hours. There are plenty of videos and threads on this topic. You'll have to loosen the front bumper to the point where it exposes the screws holding the headlights.
Yeah for the price the Depo lights are the way to go. A few people on this forum have got them recently with no problems like the early sets that were purchased. I will get getting a pair soon now that they seem to have the bugs worked out.
just want to chime in as well. purchased the deep headlights from unique style racing (later batch) and have been running them for a few months now without any hiccups. they really make the front-end of the car look a lot sharper IMO
How much (on average) do you guys think a shop would charge to install them for me? Planning on taking them to benzworks in socal after I purchase them from unique stye race
