Headlight Questions HELP!!!
I recently swapped out my HID's from my car because it wasn't projecting properly. I was told that the HID's will not work because the stock projector is made for halogen bulbs.
Fine.
I bought some hyper white silverstar bulbs and tried. Its not as bright!
Now I'm thinking that something might be wrong.
Does anyone have aftermarket HID's on their car? Is it bright??.
If so how can I make it work?
Is something wrong with my projector lens?
Please help, Im going on a long distance drive soon, and i will be traveling at night. Please help.

Of course aftermarket HID lights in a reflector (halogen) housing will be insanely bright. The issue is that there is no direction and you are blinding all oncoming drivers. Silverstars are excellent bulbs and likely that is the correct amount of lighting for your car. If you want improved lighting, invest in the DEPO projectors that are now made and you can reuse your HID kit with proper results.

Buy the DEPO projectors for $500 and you will have better light output than you ever have. Honestly, $500 is a steal compared to the $1500+ that the Lighting package costs.
