Powder coated OEM wheels

Looked through the wheel threads but didn't find much. Anyone had their oem wheels coated, something other than just black

Thinking about doing crystal grey on our oem 18's. I'm not a fan of the machine face black wheels look at all.

Normally I'm the type to do crazier colors, but for oem wheels I prefer to keep it simple. Bronze has crossed my mind as well. Since our car is white, it's a bit of an open canvas pretty much anything will work based off your personal taste.

Have you looked at prices for doing it? I've looked at a few places and it seemed pretty pricey. Like for a few hundred more I can get a brand new set 19'" with tires for how much powercoating costs.

If you looking for rims, I have a friend that owns a shop in federal way that could help you out.

My guy does a set for around $250, usually closer to $300 because I go wild on the colors. Cheap enough that I do a set every few months to switch it up. I would opt to get new wheels, but would want to go 19's and by the time I add tires I'm looking at a hefty bill. I have expensive taste in wheels too haha. I'm a bit of a wheel *****.

Had a set of gunmetal/titanium grey E55 wheels on mine prior to my current set. It looks really good!

More I look at the wheel design, I think I may just go gloss black and wash them out. I don't really find them to be an overly attractive wheel and think it's best to just contrast the black against our white car. Goes against every bone in my body to do black wheels though haha.
