Changing from E to S mode

Hi Guys,
I have a 2014 C250 coupe. In my '08 It would stay in S mode once I switched it there. I noticed very shortly thereafter any command updates or the 09 model it starts in "E" mode every time you shut off the car and restart it.
Is there a crack or programming change I can make so I can avoid having to set the car to "S" mode every time I start it? This is a really annoying feature in this car.
Much TIA
Rick

My 2012 C250 switches back to E mode as well and I haven't heard of any way to change this.

it defaults to E to increase it's EPA rating. Can't change it.

Might be possible with an ECU flash. I know the tunes adjust the shift behavior as well.

just put it into your habit to click that button also when you start your car Think of it as the second ignition to wake up your car lol.
