2008 C300 Camshaft Position- Timing over-retarded Bank 1 and 2 P0012 P0022

2008 C300 Camshaft Position- Timing over-retarded Bank 1 and 2 P0012 P0022
Hello,
I have a 2008 C300 and the check engine light was coming on and off. So I took it to autozone and got fault codes p0012 and p0022. A camshaft position-timing over retarded Bank 1 and Bank 2. At autozone they told me that I should replace the sensors. I am looking for any help possible. Is it just the sensor or could it be something else? I have read through some of the post saying to not change the sensors and just to change the magnets.
