Battery for 2011 C300
Hello
My 2011 C300 battery died on me.
Could anyone help me identify a good, high performance battery.
M in the United States and I was told at the dealers that it would take $300 for replacing with a new Mercedes battery, that comes with one year warranty.
At a local auto shop an Interstate battery would cost $189 with 30 months warranty.
I am not sure which one is good. My warranty doesn't cover battery replacement. Could anyone give any suggestions as of which battery is good and long lasting?

If you're under the original 50k mile/4 year warranty, the stealership should cover your battery. My original battery was replaced by MB Roadside at 42k miles when my faulty light switch left my parking lights on.

The battery on my 2008 (built 9/07) is still going strong but I have started to look around for replacements as I know its days are numbered. The dealership quoted me $165 for the battery and the install should be an easy DIY.

2008 C-300
My battery started going out on me last year. Here in Central FL, the dealership only charged me $150 and I put it in myself. I was not able to use Roadside Assistance, but if you can, they'll only charge you the cost of the battery if you're out of warranty, otherwise it's free. This was actually cheaper than any auto parts store. I figured if the OEM lasted about 6yrs, why not. When I removed the old battery, the posts were loose and leaking. Cleaned everything up and haven't had a problem so far.
