2009 C300_Chirping sound from right side dashboard
I started to get a chirping sound every now and then. The sound is not continuous but it is an annoyance. It seems to be in the right side of the dash,
I wonder if a fan motor or something is causing it. If anyone had this issue please let me know before I start taking my dash apart.

Good luck with the repair, I was also thinking it might be some ice or some other temperature related problem because it started when we got some really cold weather.

I'm hearing a similar sound in the driver side (I think?) of our '09 C300. I don't think it's a fan motor or anything mechanical because it seems more like a chirp-like rattle that only occurs when I go over bumps. It seems more like something is loose inside the dash or door. Gavinmay, would you mind letting us know if they find anything during the EIS repair? Thanks.

Yeah for sure I'll let ya'll know. I think mines related to something to do with brakes or bearings because mine has been having issues with brake pads getting worn out super fast. but I'm taking it in this Saturday and I'll let ya'll know what they say. Also I don't think it's tempurature related because here in Texas it's been above freezing and it's still been chirping.
