W204 No crank, no start, moisture in trunk fuse box?
Hello, I own a 08 C350, drove it to work, no problems, when I tried to leave for lunch it was pouring, car dash lights turned on and everything, radio worked fine, but no crank or starts, i called AAA and they tested the battery, it was fine on charge, so I had it towed home. I read that the SAM goes bad on these cars, and that sometimes its a steering lock mechanism, not sure if they are the same or correspond with each other.The steering wheel will not unlock, I checked the rear fuse box and somehow there was moisture in some of the fuses, I used an air hose to dry them, let it dry over night (in the garage of course) and swapped the fuses the next day, same problem. any advise on what it could be? I checked power going to the box and there is power, no shorts that I could find.
