New owner (electronics problem)
First of I want to say hello, I am a new owner of a 2013 Mercedes C250. My first German car in fact. Only 10k miles. Still smells new. I was in a bad car accident and unfortunately my previous car has reached a bad end. Either way, I've had this car for about 2 weeks and the first thing I did was plug the iPod Nano in. A cable was provided inside the arm rest area. The iPod synced and worked just fine but today I started the car and it no longer paired with the Mercedes. I have reset the audio settings to factory and the same for the ipod but to no avail and help. Odd thing is it still charges the iPod. It attempts to connect and says "activating device..." then after a while fails and says no device connected and then attempts to pair again after a while. I used the search function here and google but it seems people either don't get an answer or I get slammed with Iphone blue tooth issues which I don't have. Any help would be appreciated,
thank you.
thank you.

radio stations are erased and media interface frozen
I have similar issue in my 2015-C300. I plugged my USB into a USB slot and everything media related and center console area buttons froze. I'm thinking of taking it to the dealer.

Don't think you'll get anywhere at the dealer to be honest.
Sounds like an Apple issue. Do a full reset of the iPod - you hold down two buttons simultaneously I believe.
If that doesn't work, trying pulling the fuse on the audio system and reconnecting
