Refurbish seats
Hi All
So my C180 was born with fake leather seats.. Looks okay but I really want to have REAL leather... Been looking around and getting different quotes..
Thin skin refurbish USD 700.00 for all seats and doors
Chinese skin refurbish USD 1070.00 for all seats and doors
Italian skin refurbish USD 1270.00 for all seats and doors
Have anyone done this before for their C-Class?
And can someone post pix of their leather seats please

Well I was gonna post about a company here in HK that does it but thought it'd be no bueno since you're in Shanghai. Google Arela Leather (spelling?) in Kwun Tong HK. Maybe you can work something out with them. They quoted me $10-13K HKD and 1 week time for all my seats done in black nappa leather.

I found or was recommended a place in Minhang they do work for 4S shops and Land Rover. Was quoted around 8/K rmb for Italian leather. Just wanted to get interior insperation from others.

Why would you want real leather in your DD? Personally I prefer the MBTex that we have in our cars since it cleans better, is more durable and still looks great after years. I would only get the nice real leather if it was an AMG

Mike- How come your seats have that handle on the side? Looks like a quick release for coupe seats. You have power and memory seats correct?
My MBtex is horrible, doesn't clean well at all, it's either stained or something because the inside upper bolsters have turned yellow and I can't clean them off no matter what cleaning agent I use.

Is that for front and rear seats? Seems cheaper than my place. If they've done our seats before maybe I can just order the covers from them and change it out myself
