Newbie needs info
Evening all. Just bought my first MB, it is a 2013 C250 and that is about all I know about it. The owner, an older fella, didn't have any supporting info. Heck I'm not sure I even got all of the manuals for the car. So here goes.
1. What is the engine "type" number? I know it's a small 4 cylinder Turbo and I think it's 1.8 liters but apparently I need the type # for some things.
2. What is the oil capacity for this engine? The manual I have only specifies capacity for a C250 blueEFFICIENCY which I am pretty sure is the diesel engine which I am sure I don't have.
3. Any way to get a Monroney sheet for this car? Or other resources to get info based on the VIN?
And yes, I have spent the last two days searching this forum and my manuals and these questions are unanswered.
Thanks for any help.

I hope that helps. Congrats on the car.

Also sign up for epc.startekinfo.com.
Free, but you need a credit card to prove US residency.
It's pretty much what the dealers use for parts lookup. Very handy. I believe it can also tell you all the specs and options on the car based on VIN.

I'd change the oil immediately, as well as check all the fluid levels. But looks like you are on top of things

I had dropped by the local dealership to try and get maintenance records and they ran a report which, while it doesn't give me all the info of a Monroney sheet, did give me all the options and codes the car came with. Just an FYI if anyone cars.
