Convert Alarm Horn to Siren
On some of the older W204 C's, when you locked/unlocked the doors, the car would beep, the alarm siren was an electronic tone, at some point in model cycle, I believe after the mid-cycle refresh, the chirp was changed to a horn beeps, and the alarm tone became a honking horn. Does anyone know if it's possible to change out the horn for the siren?

Is there a siren? Trigger the alarm and if the horn sounds instead of a siren then you'll have to rewire the trigger to the siren. I was bothered by the horn when closing the car, so I just turned off the audible tone when locking. Those sirens were problematic because they had an internal battery and when the battery died would cause all sorts of intermittent false alarms.

Mine did not come with a siren. It honks when alarm is triggered. In the W203, the siren was under the plastic wheel wells. Does anybody know if this is the same for a W204?
If not, how do I install the siren? I can turn off the audible horn but where do I tap the siren?
