General Advice
C300 owner for 2.5 years. Traded the C in on a new f150, but as much of a change as that was, it was merely back to the point I was at 2.5 years ago.
I must admit the dealer was fantastic. They addressed each and every concern, but that comes at a price.
Here is my take. While under warranty, have oil changes done at the dealer, but skip the A/B fleecing. Have the tranny serviced every 40k at the dealer. Beyond that, go to an indie or DIY.
The truth is that the dealer will rely on the carfax at trade-in. Let it show you reported for an oil change every 10k, but keep you wallet closed beyond that.
The c300 is a good car. The weak link is the tranny. Enjoy the car, but drag it to the dealer every 40k for a tranny service to protect your investment and hopefully enlist the dealer to go to bat for you if there is an issue.
Good luck, everyone, and I'll possibly be looking "down" on you from the f150 cockpit.

Carsy, to the ends of the spectrum to be sure. Actually, I will haul a hog, but the Harley Davidson variety.
It's surprising the level of road/wind noise with the F150. It is very quiet on the road. I'll miss the C on twisting roads, no doubt.
Both you and Glyn provided much help and thought over the past few years. Many thanks.
