Help needed. Newbie brake caliper removal questions.

C300 4matic sport. Ive searched with no luck. I am swapping out 4 rotors and pads. I am stuck with the front carrier bolt removal. There are 4 torx and one 13 mm bolts. Do all 4 torx get removed for the carrier to come out for pad replacement? Or is it the top and bottom 13mm bolts that are removed? What size would the torx be? Ps. My rotors are crossdrilled.
Thank you.

Not to be rude but if you have little experience with doing brake pad/rotor replacements then it would be wise to take it to a shop that specializes in the work.
Indy shops, and experience friend, or dealer as last resort.
Messing with the brake system could not turn out so well if not done properly.

Hi,
Don’t remove the 4 torx bolts they are different from the other two for a reason, may be get some one to give you a hand.
What I find works well is search tube find a video watch it several times then have the laptop handy when I am doing the job for referencing to.
I did my set but not being 4matic looks different than yours.

Thank you. I did find a youtube video which shows the removal steps which is quite close to mine. Most of them were not but this one was.
The title spells break instead of brake. He shows the rears in a dif. Video. Cheers.
