W204 transmision mount questionfor the ones thatbhave replaced it

Hello all. I just replaced the transmission mount on my 09 c300 and I am noticing that of course smoother and it has a better and quicker take off speeds. Is it me or replacing that mount makes the engine more efficient? Am I tripping or is this correct? Please let me know.

I'm having a problem where it might be the tranny mounts as well, i checked the engine mounts there okay. i get a vibration/rumbling when I'm slowing down to a stop when it gets to really slow - > stop, for a few seconds, and sometimes there vibration when I'm at a full stop in Drive or Reverse, but theres no problem when its in neutral or park. i checked coming to a stop in neutral theres no vibration , so it only happens in gear.

What exactly do you mean by more efficient? If you mean improved mpg and hp, then the answer is no. What it will do is reduce nvh (noise, vibration, harmonics). I have seen cases where if these mounts are bad enough it can cause check engine lights as the vibrations are seen by the mesfi as knock counts. I guess it is possible the mesfi can retard timing but I cant confirm I personally have seen this.
