2012 Head Unit removal
Trying to removing my COMAND head unit on my 2012 C63. Most of the vids out there are for <2012, but this one was very helpful:
So, got the trim/vent assembly off. Unscrewed the T15 screws about 1/2 way as it stated and pushed the little metal part attaching to the screw down. I assume these are the tabs to which the video, and everyone else, refers.
After I do that, the head unit will wiggle just a little, but not budge at all. For reference, the car looks exactly like the one in the video above.
Any help/tips are appreciated.

When you remove the vent trim and disconnect the lighting plug, tape it where you can see it. There's not much extra length on it and it easily falls back into the dash and you will forget to reconnect afterwards. Unscrew those two screws even further then tap the screws down.
