Anyone have any idea on removing/replacing cruise control stalk

My cruise control stalk has developed an annoying rattle that I can hear while going over bumps. It is like a buzzing sound that I can replicate why tapping the stalk up and down. I took a video of it but honestly it doesn't do it justice. It may be subtle but it sounds like something is loose.

Anyone have any idea of how to remove it and replace it? Does it require me to remove the steering wheel?

I believe you have to get a new steering wheel control module, which would require steering wheel removal in order to remove and install
