Hi,

I have been looking to get a 2012 C300 and I have seen a few C300 Sports with the 4 spoke Luxury steering wheel? I have stir away from them in case they had incidents where it was replaced and not reported to Carfax. Am I right thinking this? or is there some special situation that makes this happen?

It's not something to worry about. Certain W204 Sport models would indeed have the 4 spoke steering wheel seen in the Luxury version, but those would (to my knowledge) only have been in cars with tan interiors. Cars with the Black, Ash (grey), and Sahara Beige interiors would have the sport steering wheel that you expect. Always good to look into the vehicle history though.

I have a tan interior in my sport vehicle and it came with the luxury wheel, which in my case I personally enjoy more than the sport version. As stated above, the tan interior comes along with the 4 spoke steering wheel.
