RW Carbon Rear Diffuser Install Question - C350

I recently picked up a C63 AMG Style Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser from RW Carbon recently and installed it myself. The process overall was extremely easy.

I have one question to those who have installed this diffuser. How did you handle the section in the middle that was previously attached using the existing brackets from the diffuser that came on your vehicle. I had to use a long bolt with some nuts and washers to attempt to secure it. I'm not sure that this is the best idea. Any suggestions to do this correctly or better?

See below for some pictures I took.

Part Number for the diffuser is: mercw20416

Thanks in Advance

Mike

Yup, that's a solution to install without the brackets. I used stainless steel hardware as well, which will hopefully provide better longevity.

I plan to change everything out to stainless as well.
