FrankenBenz C250
I never could get over being partial to the look of the C63 so I decided to create my own monster. Since the C63 is a 6.3L V8, I created the C18 for the 1.8L turbo 4. So it lets me enjoy some of the looks of a C63 with the gas mileage of a C250 and not take the heat of being a C63 poser. I am now Dr. Frankenbenz and it has come somewhat of an obsession. I scour the Internet to find genuine Mercedes Benz parts to do the mods with some performance aftermarket boosts as well. So far I done the following...
- AMG 5 Spoke Wheels $600 (Hell of a Deal)
- Rear deck spoiler
- 35% Ceramic Tint all around.
- CLA 45 Turbo fender emblems in leu of 6.3 AMG emblems
- C300 Mercedes mufflers and quad exhaust tips with diffuser.
- Stripped all chrome trim.
- Changed badging from C250 to C18
- Berger Motorsports Intake and Tuner
This is all done so far. More to come to include bi-xenon headlights, single fin grille and some interior changes. All in all I have only spent about 2K in mods. No just like the clean and simple look to keep
It classy. You would be surprised how many people think it is an production stock model.

But please keep us updated with that as I'm also planning to go this route since I want to keep the oem sound level.
The backup camera was a very easy DIY project. As long as you have s COMAND head unit you should be able to do it fairly easy. Plenty of threads on here that'll explain how to do it. ~$50 bucks in parts and about 3 hours of labor.

Take care of them. Here is mine with the same c63 wheels as yours and single fin c63 grill. Also just recently painted the front lower bumper fascia black.
