Suspension question

So i have a 2012 c300 4 matic sport 55,000km on it

it seems pretty low as i was told the suspension is now settled on it was wondering are coil overs worth it? I spoke to a few mb owners and we compared the heights I'm about 1cm lower than their cars but they only have about 17,000km on theirs.

i wanted to get 18's on it but then i saw VFS2 Silver Polished vossens come in 19" would i have to consider coil overs?

if i have to what are some good ones at a reasonable price ?

I say get the wheels you want first. Then decided if you want to be lower or not. Best would be H&R for all around quality and amount of lowering. KW's are good also but cost much more and don't offer as much lowering ability.

No problem. I went with H&R coilovers and I am very happy with them, as are most people on this forum since that's the main one people go with.

H&R's are only offered for RWD applications. Which brings you back to either KW or one of the boutique shops that are currently developing 4matic compatible suspension.

Oh I totally missed you said you have a 4matic. H&R does not make coilovers for 4matics as he said. There is a thread on here with a company in New York making good ones for the 4matic model

Have you considered just lowering springs? You can lower the car a bit over an inch and don't have to worry about adjustment and they cost significantly less than coilovers.

We carry a lot of both types, take a look at the kind of variety out there:
