Idler Pulley Torque Spec

Hello!

The grooved idler pulley (Part #: A 272 202 10 19) in my 2010 C300 started squeaking the other day and it looks like the bearing is shot so I am currently waiting for a new one to come in.

I was wondering if anyone with access to WIS might be able to tell me what the official torque spec is for the bolt so I don't under/over tighten it when I install the new one

Hi again!

I asked my local dealer today after I picked up the pulley and they told me it's 35 Nm which is 25.8 ft-lb.

Hopefully that's useful to someone else in the future

Good info. I had to go by feel on mine, may need to re-check it sometime

If you don't torque all the pulleys, tensioner etc is there much risk?
