What version is this?

I took a picture in the engineering menu, https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0F...ew?usp=sharing this is the picture. What is the version of my COMMAND and/or my map? I also contacted my local dealer they said ONLY the coommand os update (not the map) is $249 is this correct?

If you go hit the NAVI menu (not while on engineering menu) and scroll all the way down to the options do you see "map version"? If you don't see it then you have the old command OS. You can also confirm that if you have the old OS plug in a ipod or any mp3 player and while the aux input is playing go to the "sound" option and if you do not see "boast" on the screen then again you have the factory installed OS.

The dealer can install the new OS but they will charge you for it as the car is out of warranty already and if you try to install a new map version on your command your navigation might get screwed up (happened to me!) because it does not have the new OS on it. Better get the map installed by the dealer so that when something does happen you can always come back and say they screwed up your nav software and the only thing they can do to fix it is to do a new install of the OS. If you do man up in installing a new map update on your command make sure to pay attention to the POIs and if the graphic icons and sub menus disappears after the update you need to get a new OS to fix it and redo the map update (again happened to me!)

Thank you so much for the detailed write up, I don't have the boost in the aux port also the music damp while navigation audio. So I'm guessing this is really close to the production versions. About the maps, I've read online that by updating with the COMMAND map also updated their COMMAND Update I wonder if that will be the case for me?
