P034062 ???

Hi There,

I have a w204, c180cgi, (1,8 liter turbo) 2011 model with about 59.000 km.
I have this fault. My car is out of warranty.
Must change Timing gear(2), chain and tensioner service said.
İs there any TSB, recall or etc. Service labor is too expensive. İs it common problem or not?

regards...

Sorry for you.
Can you describe the problems or sound. May be just chain or tensioner.
(My car, when the start up, make a little time tırrrrrrr and then everything is ok. Chain and tensioner was good but gear was bad and change all, better for me)
İn Turkey, in MB official service, 5.000 TL = 2.000 USD(incl TAX%18)

This is a common problem.
In Turkey we have a old sentence; "you don't think the money if you have a Lion"

Some technicans says, after change the Timing cahnge kit, automatic gear, engine and gas pump control box software update must be good for you. (if MB have the new update for your car. check it)(exactly MB have a TSB but i couldn't find)
Best regards and good luck for labor in service

Hi,
I saw but we are talking about M271 Evo Engine. 4 cylinders and turbo engine. 1.8 liter and we call CGİ(you know "compressed gasoline injection"). MB used same engine with different software in C180-C&E200-C&E250 model

İf i am not mistaken. Am i wrong?
