Need Front Differential Drain Plug Thread Size
I've been searching on the forum on how to change the front differential fluid on our cars (w204) and it seems that there is only one to fill it back up; removing the right front axle. But I think I have a simple solution where you will only need access to the drain plug. I need the thread size of the drain plug, and if its a straight or taped thread.
I'm thinking of machining a one-way check valve that would thread into the differential replacing the drain plug and all you would have to do is pump the .6L of fluid back from the drain plug using a fluid dispenser.
If a simpler solution exists already, please give me a link to the thread.
