Spark plug change
Changed spark plugs at 50K mi on my C300 yesterday.Simple,straightforward job.My old original plugs were Bosch Platinum R1.The new ones I ordered "for the 2011 C300" are "Bosch Double Platinum R6". Does the higher # denote a higher heat range and if so will they cause and issues? Thanks.Car runs fine by the way..

Plugs lifespan is 90k. I just did mine at 69k. Just because they work in the parameters of the computer Doesn't mean their efficient. 50k is a little early but it's fine if you want to spend the money your not going to hurt anything. I mainly did mine because at the time I'd be hitting close to the 90 itd be in winter time when I wouldn't want to deal with it.
