Key Fob
Key stopped working, so I used the spare and replaced the battery. Red light flashes on fob, but the key does not work. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I am using the other key, and finally remembered to replace the battery in the key that stopped working

Probably a silly question, but did you try the original key with the new battery? I once had a problem with my spare key not working, it had not been initialized when I collected the car

So I put another battery in the key and inserted it in the ignition and now I am getting a message that says Key is initializing Please wait. Go figure...

Can't remember, but not too long. Try the and see if it works, and also check if the other key needs to be initialized (if you haven't already done so). Hope it worked.
