AC Cooled Driver Seat
got tired of a sweaty back. Researched how to cool the drivers seat. Did not want to add a cheap external fan cooled seat cover. could not find a local shop that would install peltier cooled modification to my seats. So i spent $10 at home depot, drilled a small hole in the back of my drivers seat concealed by the magazine pouch, ran a pipe from the ac vent under the seat through to the hole in the back of the seat and voila! I now don't have a sweaty back problem! you can barely see the pipe and everything can be removed easily and a new seat back (if necessary) costs $70 online.
Thought I would share - may help someone cool down!

OP: Nice job!!! I'm going to have to do this!
So to you ghetto is clever engineering?
Dang, by those standards, this must be the classiest, most beautiful example of Salt Water New England on wheels.

i heard the negative comments - it works and you can't really tell it's there, except for the dry back in 100 degree heat.

I've ordered this to improve the airflow. I will take all pics when I install it.

Did not get to take pics but here are steps. Remove seat back. Remove all clips for seat cover. Remove lumber adjustment handle. The seat cover can now be removed exposing the seat back cushion. Cut holes in seat back cushion sized to fit the fans. Inserts fans from backside. Run cable to base of seatback. Splice into power. Reassemble everything. Turn on. Cool back in 100 degree heat. Be careful or you can screw up installation. Took me 2 hours. I would advise getting it done if you are DIY challenged. It's been running great for a few weeks now. I only did driver seat. Good luck.

But I've been seriously wondering how I can install this.

Concealed power all the way to glove box. The fan kit comes with on / off and two speed switch which can be installed on the side of the seat base. I actually left mine turned on all the time- I live in a hot climate.
