2009 C300

Side marker backer plate

My daughter broke my drivers side marker and the backer plate fell out and my wife through it away. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement backer plate for the replacement side markers I purchased?

I bought a set of clear side markers off of eBay a few weeks back. I believe they were Depos. They came with the full assembly including the back plate.

That's interesting, I just bought and sold (https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...ker-lamps.html) a pair of Depo side markers my last month for my '13 C350 coupe and neither sets came with the back plate. I used the existing (OE) back plate.
Maybe there is a difference between the Depo coupe and sedan side marker lights in terms of being able to use the factory back plate?

I got the depo led side markers for my '12 c350 sedan not long ago. They came with new backer plates but it was easier to just use the originals when I installed them. The extras are just sitting in a box in the garage now.
