Ballast / control unit question

Hey everyone,

So it appears my car needs a new ballast as the low beam light is out.
I switched the bulb, and that didn't fix anything, so it must be the ballast. All the other lights work fine though.

I'm going to buy one online and install it myself, but I want to make sure I get the correct one.
I find 2 options on this parts website:

There's 1 control unit for having "active light" and one for not.
My car is a 2008 C350 (Canada) and it doesn't appear that I have that feature. The headlights are supposed to turn with the wheels on the highway, as to my understanding.

There's no reference to it in the manual, but is there a way to confirm? I've never noticed the lights move when I steer the car, but I could just be oblivious to it.
I'd like to avoid taking the front end apart just to see the part number underside the headlight.
