I bought the Merceded Nav update for my wife. It's a 2 cd set and covers NORTH AMERICA.
Compatibility says this:


C-class 08-11
CLK-class 10-12
SLS AMG 11-14


I have no idea if it will work more than once or if it can be copied. There seems to be a little dot or blem in disc one. That may be a blem to keep from copying it.


I'm going to install sometime in the near future when we have the time, and then either put it on ebay or ???????????

The navigation update DVD's cannot be copied but they can be used more than once. I did the same thing last year, bought the update and sold it on eBay.

It's NOT TRUE. Copying is VERY difficult, but someone CAN copy it. I got a set of copy (2) disks. Did the NAVI update on my 08C350 last month. It take 2 1/2 hours (car park in the garage with the radio on, hook the battery charger to the car, no CD's or SD card, everything must be empty but the radio on, ignition on # 2 position, do not need to start the car), now I have 2015 update map in my car. I gave the set to a friend after the update succesful.

copy it with 4x speed.
the lower the better.

and use good disks, don't be cheap with no name disk.

Uploading Nav software right now. Cannot get all the lights to go off. Is this why the battery will go dead without a charger? I have 2 trickle chargers, can I assume that I can use both or just one?


Holy crap! the battery went dead after 15 minutes.


Done! Had to put my Honda generator on the car battery. The trickle charger either did not work or was way overloaded.
