Front Left SRS malfunction!! Please Help
This morning on my drive to work I got a Check windshield wiper fluid message on my car which went away on its own. But on my drive back from work I got this SRS message which doesnt go away.
I was sitting in my car earlier with the ignition switch on but the car off for about 10 minutes, and then I go to turn the car on and it wont. So i had someone jump my car and it finally turned on.
Is the battery dead and thats why its showing this error message or is the actual SRS system failing?
Please help the car is no longer under warranty and would rather replace the battery or something on my own than take it to the dealer.

On my VW if you disconnected the latch harness or even some buttons it would trigger the airbag light. Once that thing came on it needed to be cleared. It happened to me a couple times while working on my car. Luckily on Audis and VW it's much easier to do DIY coding.
Even indie shops seem to have a high diagnostic hookup fee. Sometimes if you are friendly enough and the shop isn't busy they may do it for free to earn a customer.
On my VW it was as simple as just like clearing the engine codes.
