Hi jbt56, I believe it is an aftermarket piece because I bought it here in the U.S.A. but box details are in german. Fit is perfect and you can't tell when mounted from an OEM. I love it, just replaced with the "luxury/elegance" grill. But very happy with the SL grill as well!
