09 C300 LED Signal Indicator on mirrors

2008 c350
I have a 2008 c350 and just purchased the LED indicator for my passenger side mirror. Bought it from EOC parts. It was around $30. Trying to figure out how to install it now. Looking like the mirror lens may have to come out to install it. The part has 4 tabs that snap in, but also has 2 posts that look like screw attach points.

The mirror covers are removed a different way on the 08-09 W204's. I just removed mine on my 09 C300. You do have to take the glass mirror off. There are 4 tabs total, if you tilt the mirror all the way down you can see 2 of them. I popped the 2 top tabs with a screwdriver and then kinda pried down on the mirror and it popped out. I was super nervous about breaking it but it was more durable than I expected. From there you can see the torx screws you have to remove to take the outer rim off. Then you can see the tabs on the left and right bottom of the mirror which separate the matte black bottom of the side view mirror from the top. Of those 2 tabs on the bottom of the left and right side, there is also a third one on the back side of the mirror, on the left (if you were looking at it from the glass) that you will have to kinda pry off. I didn't realize that one was there and broke it, but everything still went back together fine. Hope this helps with the question a lot of people have about the 08-09 side view mirror cover removal, they do not come off like the 10+ styles.
