3 HID questions (not the same as everiyone else)

I am interested in changing the current Diamond Vision bulbs for Morimoto HID but here are my questions for those that have them already. 1- How long have you had them working without issues? 2- Where did you installed the ballast? 3- I hear that can be inserted inside then headlight capsule. Is that true? Thanks all for looking.

Regarding placing the ballasts inside the headlight housing. It can be done but why would you want to do it? If there is any failure of the ballast you need to rip open your headlights again. Ballasts are more prone to failure than HID bulbs. I would keep them in a accessible location so that you can change / upgrade when ever you need to. Are you planning on changing the projectors as well?

I'd highly recommend against sticking anything asides from just the bulbs into the headlight housing. There are plenty of mount points on the vehicle. Although this is a video of our older kit and not the newer Morimoto XB35 kits we now carry, you might be able to pull some ideas as to mounting points from it. Credit goes to xxhotelcrazyxx for making the video.
