Need help identifying a part!!!!
Hey everyone,
So in a true donkey fashion I wash rushing to get out of my house in order to make the bus in the morning. Fresh off of a Jets victory and a late Monday night, I jumped in the car and snapped off my turn/wiper lever
. I called Mercedes and they wanted 450 for the part alone.
I see similar parts online OEM for 110 or even cheaper. My father is a foreign and domestic auto mechanic and told me that if I got it online he and I could put it on together. Plus it will give me some good time to spend with the old man. Can anyone identify the lever/stock part number or a link to one online that is for a 2012 C300 Luxury?
I appreciate everyones insight!!!

You can join the EPC-net online part search engine for free. I use it all the time it works great. One you input your vin it will bring up all the information for your car, even the build sheet. Here is the link: https://epc.startekinfo.com/epc/home.jsp
Hope this helps.

Thanks! I'll sign up when I get home, unfortunately it is blocked by my companies regulatory siteblock. I still need to find out what part it is so I can order it and have it arrive this weekend.
Anyone else able to provide this for me?
Thank you!

Looks like it requires the whole assembly which MSRP at $400+
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MERCEDES-2079003100-W204-STEERING-COLUMN-CLOCK-SPRING-OEM-C-CLASS-C250-C300-/281756129127?hash=item4199f95767&vxp=mtr
Probably the best deal you're going to find.

Hey, thanks for the reply! I also have the bar for adjusting the steering column, this doesn't seem to have it included. Is that not a part of that specific part?

... or repair your current one with epoxy and some thick wire.
Drill out the shaft of the lever, use the wire inside for rigidity, epoxy with a thin cloth over for reinforcement.
Edit: it's probably hollow inside and the control wires are there? then just epoxy with a cloth on the outside...

I may have the Steering Control Module with the steering column adjustment lever. It will be available in a few weeks, since I am installing a SCM as part of my lane keeping assist retrofit project. Please pm your VIN and I can look up the part number and see if it is the same as my installed unit. It would be available in the next few weeks at a very reasonable price. Like New condition
