Lack of power on 1st gear. Check Engine signal.

Hi,

When I try to dynamically move forward from the 1st gear it doesn’t have the power and then “Check engine” signal is showing. The signal is getting off itself after 1-2days. When my friend plugged the computer to my MB it shows “Camshaft Position Sensor Fault”.

I did a lot of read here and it doesn’t look like Camshaft Position Sensor Fault. Cars starts just fine, it don’t have a noticeable problem with RPM etc.

Maybe someone smarter here will know what may it be? So I wouldn’t have to go to mechanic every 1 month

Lack of power off-idle is hallmark of the broken flap issue. But it throws some specific codes. https://blog.fcpeuro.com/mercedes-be...ymptoms-review

Snky1987 hasn’t been back since 2017, but for those interested, the M271 (C200, 250, et al, with 4 cylinder turbo) doesn’t have the flaps.
