Looking for removal and replacement instruction's for replacing the turn signal combination indicator switch on my 2008 W204 C200.
The issue is intermittent, when indicating left the right side goes on. Sometimes both side flash or nothing works.
You cannot just replace the turn signal unfortunately. You would have to purchase a new steering wheel control module assembly, which includes all the levers
Thanks for that Capt Paul.. I have been given a part # 2049000304to order . just need removal and installation instructions
I have the PDF document. PM me with your email and I will send it as an attachment. Pretty easy. Remove steering wheel. unclip the bag part at the back or the control module. Then give it a good tug to release the 2 spring clips inside. When you install the module, press connect the electrical connector in the back, push the module onto the column (aligning the clips with the slots on the column. when you put the steering wheel back on, the bolt will finish setting the control module onto the column and the little red button on the bottom of the module will be flush. If it is a new unit, you need to also break off the red shipping tab before installing the steering wheel.
Also....very important to remove all power from the car by disconnecting the ground from the battery under the hood as well as the aux battery in the trunk (if installed) before you start
I also have a used steering wheel control module for sale ( I installed a different one that was needed to accommodate some other retrofits). I would have to check the PN
