Help!!!
Hello guys, I am kinda confused with my situation! My 2010 C300 was fine all doors closed/opened with the remote. The car battery was replaced about 1-1/2 year ago, brand new from the dealer while the car still had waranty. My problem began that my doors would open with the remote except for the driver's door. As usual, once I started driving all the doors would automatically lock (except the driver's) door. Two days ago, I went to start the car and it cranked/started but I could hear/feel it was kinda weak! That same night after going to dinner the car wouldn't start (dead battery). Jump started and it started immediately without hesitation. Here's where it gets confusing, I noticed that with the battery dead (the car would NOT start) but I press the lock button on the remote and all doors locked (including the driver's door). Same thing for unlocking, I press the "unlock" and all doors open including the driver's door. Once I jump start the car and it has battery I hit the unlock button and it will unlock all doors (except the driver's) same if I hit the lock!!!
So, in a nutshell, all door locks work (open and close) when battery is practically dead (will NOT start the car). But once I jump start the car and it is running (driver door will NOT lock or open) either with the remote or the door panel buttons. First I thought it was the driver's door actuator was gone bad, but it that was the case it would NOT work when the battery is almost dead either!!! Please help!!!
I will certainly appreciate all who can in one way or another help/advise. Thank you guys!!!
