Exclamation Engine damper on correct side from engine torque?

Would I be installing my engine damper on the left or right side of the motor? Looking at the engine straight on, when you rev the motor does it twist and torque to the right or the left? So if it turns to the right, I would want to install my damper on the left?

Looking at the engine from the outside from the front of the car, the engine dips down on the left side and raises on the right side. Hope that helps. I looked into an engine dampener but didn't find any suitable place to bolt it to.

Thank you. Yea that greatly helps. Instead of going with 1, I'm going to have 2 engine dampers set up.

It fit great and already ordered other set for other side. Big improvement overall handling and feedback through the chassis.

Looks nice, care to share supplier or source? Also, it looks like it's bowing a bit or is that the angle of the pic? If it is in fact bowing, I'd be concerned with it bursting under heavy throttle at some point.

It's definitely Boeing due to torquing it down to tight. Upon disassembly of damper, there is no gas/fluid reservoir. Just a few polyurethane bushings, and washers so it's more of a steel rod holding whatever you bolted it to in place, so I'm not worried about blowing it.

Will it fit better on the bolts on the strut tower and not on the strut bar? Just throwing ideas for your bowing.

Are these universal units or did you modify units used for another model? Can you feel a significant difference? Where did you source the units?

It's mounted to the tower strut bracket so it's the optimal position imo because now I get direct feedback through the steering wheel and crisp turn in, and the vibration is very minimal too. I used the universal brackets, but connected 2 together, and and receiving 2 more that I will be mounting on the opposite side too. I prefer to leave it as is, even though it's Boeing because the handling is dialed in perfect as is, so I don't want to change anything at the moment. But I will be seeing how it will feel with a custom fabricated mounting plate we made, so we'll see how it replies to the change.
