2010 C250 W204 Tires
Hi all,
Trying to figure out the best option for my tire situation. Was away from the city and my driver side tire popped. My tire set up was staggered with Pirelli Pzero Nero 245/40 R17 91H in the rear and 225/45 R17 91H at the front. All 4 tires were at around 50% wear and these are all seasons. Had to find a shop in the area up north to avoid a tow or using my donut tire back to the city. They happened to have 1 tire that was a close match. It was a 225/45 R17 94W had them put it on at a very good price. I have two questions firstly the speed and load ratings on the new front tire is different than the other tire. Does this pose any issue at all? Will it effect the functionality of the AWD or cause transmission issues? Also the new tire is 100% were is the old tire is at 50% will this cause any transmission issues at all? I can probably find a company that can shave the new tire to 50% thing is I plan to sell this car in about a year its at 90000km so not sure if its worth it. If anyone has advice I would appreciate it greatly!
