Hey All,

I recently changed my air filters and replaced the Mann OEM with K&N filters.

When I pulled the air cleaner off, I noticed that the previous owner/dealership had crushed one, and lost one of the 4 black clips that hold the air box in place.

I did quite bit of research, and from what I read -- Mercedes only offers the full, complete air box for sale. I didn't like what I read. I kept digging and digging and really all i could find were the standard "engine cover clips" for sale.

Finally i found a thread, that linked me to another one, and I was able to match a picture of the part, to a w203 part.

When i went on the ECS Tuning website, they did indeed have the part, but i could only search for it by part number -- and the part number doesn't reference it as being used on a w204.

I was confident with the picture, and ordered them anyways -- and i would just like to save those with the same problem as me the time and money (for buying a new complete air cleaner housing) and let them know that these clips fit!

I felt a new thread was needed so that if someone searches this, it will come up -- instead of trying to search for pictures of parts, and other threads!

The driver side always keeps coming off.

I lost it to the engine bay. Drove the car up and down the street hoping it might pop out. No luck.
