Rear Turn Bulb – PY21W / 7507 (FYI)
Many of you may know this, but I ran into this issue so I thought I’d document it.
The rear turn signal bulbs in my 2011 (and I assume this is the same for 08-11 without factory LED) have guide pins that aren’t at 180 degrees from each other. Instead they are about 150 degrees apart.
I was trying to fit “standard” 1156 type bulbs in there but –of course- they wouldn’t fit as the 1156 type bulbs have guide pins that are exactly opposite (180*) each other.
The other rear bulbs (tail and brake) are of the 1156 type.
So, the correct bulbs you need for the rear turn signals are 7507 / PY21W (as clearly stated in the Owner's Manual -- but, of course, I missed it
)
